After hearing a fellow lab demonstrator's horror story with this ('suck suck suck, static buildup, suck , FZZZAAAAP , cooked hdd controller'), I'm not taking a vacuum near a computer without an earthed tinfoil nozzle :).

Indeed, I've heard horror stories like that. I tend to stick to vacuuming heatsinks etc., and avoiding touching anything electronic with the nozzle. In this case, callisto had so much accumulated crap that the heatsink was more of a fuzzy blob and some of the fan vents were blocked.
