Places I stayed overnight in 2007:

• Early Febuary: Luxor, Egypt (1 week, with Jen). Best holiday ever; Egypt is an amazing place. I'm sure this will be the main enduring good memory of the year, possibly the decade.
• Early April: Isle of Mull (1 week, with extended family). Acquired large scar on knee by unimpressively falling over.

I've been pretty fortunate with holidays this last year. I can't remember much of the first few months and have only counted places I actually made some sort of bed.

• January: Havana, Cuba (2 nights): Last year's family holiday.
• January to July: Paddington (several nights).
• January to June: Cambridge (several nights) schooling.
• January: Worcester (2 nights) visiting my girlfriend at home.
• February: Glasgow, Scotland (1 night) College-funded research trip.
