Auburn: captured memories

Jun 30, 2003 18:49

The following is a sort of photo memoir to Auburn drive high school.

We [the grads] all left Auburn with memories and we all took a little part of Auburn with us. We also left quite a bit behind, everyone left an impression.

Far off view of the side of Auburn.

Ahh the Auburn sign. Auburn was once featured in the newspaper as best school in NS!!

The fabled lunch spot of our lunch bunch. Many of us spent our entire three years eating lunch there together. As you can see it's situated near the elevador, where we had to move many times for the lazy teachers who couldn't be bothered to walk down the stairs.

The stairwell. Many things fell down through there, some accidental, some not. The famous bottle incident occured here.

The pit. We spent our off blocks there playing cards and eating things bought from the corner store.

Tis the studio, Tyler and Justin spent most of their lives there this year. I kept the image large so the poster Lauren is holding can be made out. If you still can't tell it's the les mis sold out poster.

the garbage bins, no one ever knew where to put the corect type of waste.

Lauren's painted garbage can

The Library doors

The lower level girls washroom

The lower level boys washroom, much uglier and dirtier than the female counterpart.

The hallowed halls of Auburn. Another group ate lunch here before migrating upstairs.

This pics a bit bad, it was taken through glass. It's Ms.Reid's classroom I and others spent at least a year in this room, it holds evil math memories.

The main office secretary desk, Mrs. Dickson is occupying it in this photo.

The mysterious staff room. *insert ominous sound here* the teachers were none too pleased when I took this photo.

A slightly shocked Sarah and a Mr.Macleod and half an Adam.

The infamous Ms.Tynes. She was dressed rather normally today. Her class was pretty odd and I'll always remember it (even if I try to forget).

Oops forgot Ms.Nugent. She's a pretty cool and quirky teacher, I wish she had taught me at least once.

Lauren and myself posing for the timer on my camera.

Lauren sitting where the cafetorium tables should be. We spent many a morning sitting and talking here.

Bad pic of Mr.Williams.

we say farewell with the Auburn Parking lot (sadly I never used it.)

And thus ends the picture memoir, I think with this I feel my high school days are over.
