Chapter 3
The day went on exactly as Aiba thought it would. He was late for first period (and that made the teacher
dislike him instantly), he tripped in front of the whole class and landed on his teacher, a pigeon flew in the classroom and pooped at his head (as if the pigeon knew exactly where he should poop.), his whole math class laughed at him when he said 6 + 2 was equal to 18 and the worst part of it all was the fact that Sho was in every one of his classes and they barely said a word to each other the whole day.
One time, Sho tried to talk to Aiba but just seeing Sho makes Aiba remember that morning’s incident and he would quickly turn away. During lunch time Aiba met up with his cousin and told him about what happened.
“That’s it? He just saw your naked body? Isn’t it normal for guys to see each other naked? I mean we do shower together after gym class but you don’t get all shy like this..” Nino was busy playing with his new game and paid little attention to his distressed cousin.
“But you’re my cousin. We’re related so it’s ok. But I barely know Sho and he works for my DAD! Wouldn’t that be weird?”
“To tell you the truth that’s NOTHING. Jun does things FAR worse than th-“ Nino was too busy with his game and didn’t know what he was saying.
“Huh? Jun? the dorm supervisor? He does what?”
Realizing what he just said, Nino began to panic. “Uh-Uhh.. n-nothing! Jun doesn’t do anything! I-I have to go now! Bye!” Nino collected his things and quickly fled the cafeteria.
Wow. That’s the second time he did that. And somehow, it always has something to do with that dorm supervisor, Jun..
A short while after that, the bell rang and lunch was over, and that means another class with Sho in it and another opportunity to be humiliated and laughed at. Aiba stood up and gathered some courage before walking, but he too distracted thinking about ways on how to avoid Sho that he didn’t notice that there was someone walking in front of him.
*bump*
“Ahh! S-sumimasen! I’m sorry! I was a little distracted. Here, let me help you up.” Aiba accidentally knocked down a small boy with spikey brown hair. Based on his patch color, he was a junior but he looked more like a freshman to be honest.
“Oh, don’t worry. I’m ok.” the boy stood up and Aiba helped him collect his stuff.
“By the way, I’m Ohno Satoshi, junior.” Ohno bowed and smiled at Aiba.
“Aiba Masaki, freshman. No offence but, you don’t look much like a junior at all!”
“I know, I am a little small but I am a junior. So, would you like me to help you get to your next class?”
Aiba was thrilled to have found a new friend that he didn’t notice that Ohno had his father’s company crest embedded on his watch.
“Really? Sure! My next class is…” Aiba had a hard time reading his schedule because of all the unfamiliar words. “Ecuu..nnnoohh..micss.”
“Economics eh? I’m heading to Chemistry and the economics building is right in front of it. Would you like to go together?”
Aiba gave an enthusiastic nod and both of them went their way.

Ugh! Where is that guy?! He’s already late for class. Sho anxiously waited for Aiba in their economics class. The class started a little early so as of that moment, Aiba was already late.
“Sorry Aiba-chan, I couldn’t find a way to get you here earlier.”
“Oh that’s ok Oh-chan, I did get here fast.” Aiba and his new friend we’re both panting. They were both so tired that they didn’t realize that Sho was staring at them.
Who is that guy? I’ve seen him somewhere, but I’m not exactly sure where…
“Aiba-chan! You’re already late.” Aiba was surprised to hear Sho talk to him Oh no. He’s talking to me now. Should I answer? Or should I just ignore him? Maybe he’ll think I didn’t hear him.
“Oi! Aiba-chan! Take a seat, class is already starting.” Sho was clearly irritated by Ohno’s presence but even he himself wasn’t exactly sure why.
“Ok ok. So I guess I’ll see you around Oh-chan! Bye bye.” Ohno left the room and Aiba tried to look for a vacant seat but the only vacant seat left was beside Sho.
Man, can this day get any more humiliating? Aiba took the seat next to Sho and tried his best to pay attention to the teacher.
Listen Aiba! Focus on the teacher! Foooccuuus! Oh wait. Is that a mole? Haha the teacher has mole on his forehead *snicker snicker* haha it’s so huge! It could be pregnant haha…
“Ahem.” Aiba looked up and noticed that the teacher was looking at him. “Mr. Aiba Masaki, is it?”
“h-hai”
“Is there any particular reason why you were laughing? It would be rude to have some personal enjoyment over something others are oblivious of. Would you like to share it to the class?” The teacher had this scary look and Aiba couldn’t look at him directly.
“N-no sir” Aiba tried his best not to look at the teacher because 1.) he looked really mad and scary ; 2) because if he did, he might laugh at his big mole again.
“If you won’t tell us then I guess I’ll just have to punish you for interrupting my class.-“
Before the teacher could state his punishment for Aiba, Sho interrupted “He was laughing at something I said. And you spelled the word Dynasty wrong.”
The humiliated teacher went back to his discussion and let Aiba off the hook.
“Uh, A-arigatou, Sho-chan.” Aiba was flushed. He didn’t expect Sho to help him like that. In fact, that was the first time anybody stood up for him.
“Now, are you going to tell me why you were avoiding me all day?” Uh oh, I wasn’t expecting him to ask that…
“N-no I wasn’t! Maybe…maybe YOU were the one avoiding ME!” Aiba was blushing and Sho found it really cute.
“Ah! Ok I get it.” Sho was wearing this secret smile and Aiba couldn’t contain his curiosity.
“What? Get what, Sho-chan?! Tell mee!”
“Aiba-chan, can we forget about what happened this morning?” Sho looked at him kindly with an understanding look in his eyes that made Aiba feel like everything was ok.
“S-sure.”
Sho smiled at Aiba “Thank you, Aiba-chan.”

Nino was on his way to class when he felt a hand on his shoulder.
“AHH! Jun! Don’t scare me like that!” Nino was being very jumpy and unfocused.
“Nino who were those people with you yesterday? Are they family? Why didn’t you introduce me?” Jun was bombarding him with a lot of hard-to-answer questions and he couldn’t answer any one of them.
“A-ah! Yes, Aiba-chan is my cousin but Sakurai is just one of my uncle’s employees.” Nino nervously stated.
“But why didn’t you introduce me? I thought you said that you were ready to introduce me to your family.” Jun was trying to hide his disappointment but Nino was able to sense his emotion.
“Jun…I’m sorry but, I haven’t really told them about…us…yet.” Nino was apologetically looking at Jun who was still trying to mask his disappointment.
“Oh, ok. I’m sorry to have asked.” Jun then stormed out and left Nino and his tangled emotions behind.
Jun...I may not be able to show it all the time but, I really do love you. I’m sorry.

The day is almost over and Aiba was already lying on his bed waiting for Sho to come back with their dinner.
Ahhghh! Sho-chan! Pleeeasee hurry! I’m soo hungry!!!

“Finally!” Aiba got up and opened the door to let Sho in.
“I’m sorry I took so long Aiba-chan, there was this girl at the restaurant who insisted that we eat together. She was really persuasive at it took me a while to escape.” Sho ruffled his wet hair. It was raining outside so Sho’s clothes were wet. He was wearing a white shirt so the rain made his shirt almost transparent.
Aiba was unconsciously staring at his body when he was interrupted by a sudden thought that pooped up in his head.
EH?! A girl?! F-flirting with SHO-CHAN?!!
“Eh?! So while you were out buying food, a girl asked you out on a date?!”
“Hmm. I wouldn’t call it a date. It was more of a pick-up strategy I guess..”
WHA-?! A pick-up strategy?! Is it even legal for girls to do that?!
“Hm. I guess you were enjoying it too much and forgot about me and my growling stomach didn’t you?!” Aiba was flaming with jealousy and he doesn’t even notice it.
Sho laughed at Aiba’s cute reaction and ruffled his smooth hair. “Your reaction is so cute Aiba-chan. Maybe I should get out more often.”
Aiba blushed C-cute? He thinks I’m cute? :”>
“Ah! I’m all wet. I think I have to take a bath now.” Sho got up and went into the bathroom while Aiba was still sitting on the bed.
I absolutely cannot believe I’m saying this but, I think I’m in love…with Sho-chan.
