My husband is Hindu and religious. In early childhood I was raised Catholic per my Father's beliefs. After my parents were divorced my Mother introduced us to our Native American heritage and spirituality. I am not religious perse, I am spiritual. I deferred to my husbands religion, because he is faithful and I believe that regardless of what I present to my daughter, one day she will be her own person and find her own way (At least if I have done my job correctly). I think that opening the mind to Spirituality in general is probably the most important aspect of any religion. I find that I like the Hindu religion, because they seem to accept all religions as a part of their own and that is why I prefer my daughter to be raised in his faith. Also, I believe that God does not limit himself/herself to one faith. God is larger than all of us and is present in everything. Different faiths exist to reach out to every person. Perhaps don't focus on a religion, but the opportunity for Spirituality. Choose the most Spiritually ( ... )
