Sorry for the lapse in posting there.  I was doing so good, and then life got busy.  At least it got busy after I picked up my car, so at least it is broken in now.

Today was the first day I drove my car to work.   Armed with full coverage insurance, registration, and all neccessary elements to drive the car, I drove the car.  At lunch I took one of my friends out "for a spin."  It turns out when the car is literally spinning, ABS either does a world of good or a world of hurt.  The brakes aren't really set up ( Read more... )

It was a good, relaxing kind of weekend, with a short road trip to boot!
I did get my laundry done yesterday, complete with the washing of the sheets and the remaking of the bed - always a glorious feeling to crawl under the freshly washed and tucked sheets!

Today I got to go on my first field trip at work!  We went to Argonne National Lab, where, through some strange arrangement I have yet to figure out, we have a single cylinder engine set up to do testing on/with.  It is currently being used to find the rate at which lube oil leaks around the piston rings.  For those of you paying way too much ( Read more... )
