Wow. I could have written this whole post, word for word, myself. Therefore, you are wonderful. Well, you're wonderful anway, but isn't it comforting when someone else's mind works like your own? You don't want to be a nice, modest person. Aphorism about those who rarely make history, and all that.

Modesty is important, however if you you're good at what you do, no harm in acknowledging it. Just so long as you know there is always someone more talented, more driven, and more intelligent than you.
