I haven't really accomplished much of anything so far. I did spend 7 hours rewiring my guitar, but it was worth it(I'm just wacko like that, but it was seriously insanely complex). I seriously need a life too. The only thing I've accomplished this spring break was watching 7 hours straight of the Game Show Channel. I'll be traumatized forever, I think. :|

With all that talk of wires I didn't know when you stopped talking about the guitar and when you started talking about the braces. haha jk I'm glad you have a pimpin' guitar and that your contacts came in.

so now you have hummbuckers with a coil split? you should get a SG-1 switching system and a wah-wah peddle like I've got! what kind of guitar did it start out as?

Sure do. I'm not a fan of switching systems, they get too complex and then you need a noise gate which kills sustain... blah blah blah. Just not my style. I prefer a simple effects setup, and I plan on getting a wah pedal, but not until I buy a chorus pedal. What kind of wah do you use? I plan on getting a traditional Dunlop Wah. Oh, and my guitar started as an Epiphone G-400... sweet guitar(shreds the heck out of those Mexican Strats), but it's even better with my own custom setup and electronics.

are you implying that I have a mexican strat? for I have a 50th aniversary delux with gold hard were(the sun burst one) and your right it does lack in sustain but is much simpiler and more reliable in use.I have a vox standard wah pedle by the way.
