Apparently, Jennifer Hudson is out. I'm really not surprised. This is what I think of the idols.

La Toya London and Fantasia Barrino - Divas in their own right. They are hot mommas, literally, and they kick major arse. They will have recording contracts no matter what.

Camile Velasco - Love her voice, but I don't love her nerves. She picks

I agree with your impressions on them, except for John Stevens. He bores me. He is no crooner. Even on a happy song, his voice sounds sad. And yes, Leah Labelle shouldn't have been there. Lisa Leuschner should have been the one in her place. Diana Degarma, you're right--she lacks personality. Ang baduy ng clothes niya! Parang she's the Caselyn Francisco of the US, back when Caselyn was in That's Entertainment--great voice, pero needed major overhaul and repackaging.

My vote goes to Fantasia Barrino. She's young, hip, cool and manages to own the songs she sings! And she's got wonderful lips. Latoya is great, but she tends to look and sound old. Her style is not as flexible as Fantasia's.

I'm happy if that news about Camille is true. She has got a voice, but she needs guidance and confidence. She is so awkward on stage. About Jasmine, she has got a great voice, but she tends to go sharp or flat when she rides the transition to high or low notes. But I like her smile. She is a presence to contend with. : )

I'm a little ignorant as far as crooners are concerned. I guess for me, and for the rest of the voters who are also clueless, he sounds pretty good. I like the tone of his voice. :)
