We were out running errands and we saw 4 kittens through a door into what looked like an abandoned building. Really, how hard is it? I have "Nuts" written on my grocery list in big capital letters, with a big circle around it. So today marks 4 years from the day I became Dave's ball and chain. It's been quite a trip so far. :)

I still got another month of teaching to do if you go by calendar days since school doesn't end until June 15, but if you take out all the weekends, holidays, union days, election days, the school trip and the end of the year pageant day I end up with just 15 days of actual lessons. I just noticed today that there's a new dog in our building, a good looking Boston Terrier. How many people can you fit on a small scooter?

The answer, of course, is five. Mother, father, two grade school kids and a toddler., complete with school-bags and everything. This is quite a common sight, seeing families transport their kids that way, but 5 is really pushing it. I can't decide if I was amused or horrified.
