If anyone says 'help in the kitchen it won't be that hard'. They are lying! SS0007 was a Senior Section residential / camp at Netherurd at the weekend and yea I was co-opted to help in the kitchen. WHY!!! The camp was great loads of fun, 109 people (40 in the Brownie House being catered for and 70 camping / self-catering). And someone had the great ( Read more... )

Yeowch.

Back from DofE with signed books (DofE and QG, yay), good weather (doubnle yay) and sore calf muscles and seized neck/shoulders (ow). Painkillers are love.

Come and Innovate, when they advertise it for March 08! Innovate = fun. Had a moment when I thought, "ooh, wonder if mashnut's coming to Edinburgh Escapades, then remembered it's a LaSER weekend. D'oh.

We got notice of Innovate 2008 at SS007. Think I might go if I can afford it. Not been to one before!

oh I sooo never knew it was happening otherwise i would have come for sure. qming is hard work but i love it. did it last year for the week at senior section camp in hertfordshire with mary and was amazing!

Loved QMing with Mhari (there are some more photos up now on bebo!) it's just a shame I can't wirte for 2 weeks now! Kirsten put some up on flickr too. Some are really dodgey photos of me in the Brownie house kitchen!

I presume that's suzie mcguiggan in the pic and mhairi working in edinburgh mhairi? Haven't seen either of them for ages! I'm meeting lesley carswell on monday for lunch... catch up on all the county news!

Yep it's that Suzie and Mhari (the Lones / scottish forum person)!
Hope Monday's lunch goes well... not heard from Lesley since I left Neilston. Maybe she's heard from Heather since Christmas (I've not, thought I had gone deaf!)...
