FYI the scenario actually lists 8 potential suspects, but it seemed natural to focus on the ones the players were interacting with.

The other guests at the B&B were also potential suspects, but in both runs they were dismissed by the players as not having sufficient opportunity to commit the crime - possibly a (minor) flaw in the scenario

Sure, I can see that - of the GMCs available in my scenarios only a fraction were ever engaged in chat with a PC.
