was just putting a date on some document, and 3/3/02 came out. it seemed a perfectly good date. had to really slosh around some neurons to arrive at the conclusion that this might not be right, despite feeling so. trying to figure out what year it really was mostly centered around trying to remember what movement the pen made when i've been ( Read more... )

I did the same thing today except that I was typing and I came up with the date 3/3/06. I typed it, felt it wasn't right, stared at it a bit, and finally figured out what was going on.

i propose we abolish years altogether.

dorkily enough, it's doctor who as played by david tennant in his first episode during which he described his experience as "very arthur dent" after ending up on an alien space craft in his "jim-jams".
