Bad horror movies RULE! Writing music can be so hard, until you find that one moment where an entire song comes to you in 15 minutes...and then you're home free.

mang, i remember ruthie and i trying to get you to tell us your birthday and you never told us. and now it's gone by and you let me miss it? c'mon mang.

you know what this means. we're getting drunk at my house. in fact, in honor of DB, we'll make it a yabyum. although i guess that would be rewarding you for not telling me, since you'd be celebrating twice. but whatever. i'll show you to keep your birth date from me!

p.s. i loved dharma bums. i don't fancy kerouac as a particularly good writer (though he hits some incredible grooves), but DB is one of those cases where content > style.

Sorry I didn't tell you about my birthday. I guess I just didn't want to make a big deal over it. Also, I wasn't around that weekend, so we couldn't have done anything for it anyway. But man, I am so down for a good round of drinking when we all get back. But it was irresponsible of me not to tell anyone. I deprived the world a chance to pour an extra shot into their lives. The only thing to do is to make up for lost time.

Speaking of which, how was the weekend I missed? Some told me it was good, others told me it was perfectly lame. Do anything good?

A yabyum benefits all regardless of who receives it as a reward.

See you back in town.

W.
