I know its been a few years since we talked at all, and even when we did it wasnt that often... But I guess your post is something I can relate to really well, and considering that all of my current friends are a few years older than I am, and I have spent the past few years watching them go through it... ive gotten sort of comnfortable with the immediate post college situation and how to deal with it... even though I'm still in college. Amen to that. The geology department was ever-so-helpful with that one. They essentially told me, you can go to grad school or you can go into environmental consulting. So I found a consulting job a month after I moved to NJ (man, did I take a lot of shit from parents for not having something lined up prior to moving.. sheesh.) and 6 and a half months in, I hate it. And I have no clue what else I can do with my life, especially considering I missed all the deadlines for grad schools and am now stuck working for another year.
Soooo.. I understand everything you're saying.
