Yeah, along the lines of the game's 'proceedure', I really disliked the Deus-ex-Mia moment in this case (and all the other ones). :| In fact, I can remember being quite disappointed realizing in that Mia!Maya appearance moment that spirit-channeling was actually possible in the games... but ah well they managed to make it endearing nonetheless. XD
That's pretty much the only reoccurring problem I have with the games, because apparently, I didn't learn my lesson early on; to this day, I still try and present evidence too early in the logical process when I'm unfamiliar with a case. :/
For this play through I chose “Go Home” when asked what I’d do as far as representing Maya, and I was pretty surprised at how involved that path was. It surprised and amused me.
