I feel your pain, I just loved Watari and felt so horrible seeing him collapse -withholds sob- that man was my hero.

I need to get a job also :\ or atleast volunteer, but just like you I freeze. I print out forms, write my name and then let it gather dust before I even answer why I want to be there...considering working at the community art center, though I'd probably scare all the kids looming over their shoulders asking what they're drawing.

haha, I got a pretty big yard too, my dad doesn't bother mowing the lawn anymore and just hires people to mow it every 2-3 weeks. Of course, I cant do it, I have a giant fear of shooting grass. seriously.

Wow...shooting grass? Well, our mower picks it all up nice and neatly into a bag. So unless I screw something up, it doesn't shoot out a bunch of grass like our last mower did. My dad was always warning us to stay clear of it or there would be the chance of stick pieces shooting out at us. O_O So, yeah.

Watari was freaking awesome. He's L official caretaker, and we always laughed when he skittered through the room with a chair. I told MTM, "I think L has a sweet tooth because Watari likes making him happy. Little L was bribed...harhar.." And I suspect that L's comment about 'you can eat as many sweets as you like and not get fat if you use your brain' was started by Watari. Heehee..

re: church, I know you'd get a kick out of reading Velvet Elvis by Rob Bell-- I read it with some friends at church and then a school... It's pretty much my favorite non-fiction book.

BTW. You can come to my church if you so desire. XD I <3 it.

Also, I've learned to never expect to agree with all the pastor says; after all, he isn't the Bible, for goodness' sake. XD In fact I had a pastor challenge me TO disagree with him and search what he'd said in the Bible for myself. :D I like that concept.

...I, too, also foresaw what would happen to L. *shrugs* And yes, I was in something similar to metaphorical mourning for about two weeks... >_<

Yeah, I shouldn't agree with everything the pastor says, but it...it just didn't feel quite right with me. *shrug*

I have a little chibi animation of L on my desktop now in reminder. *siiiiiigh* Poor L...it makes me want to write fanfiction for the poor guy. His all 'I'm very sad' moment with Light just before was heart-wrenchingly sweet.
