My family makes me laugh. This is what my dad got for his birthday:
Some candy/ other snack food
Shirts
Mamas and the Papas Greatest Hits CD
Red Hot Chili Peppers CD
LOTR: Return of the King (hurrah!)
And, to top everything off....

Cheech and Chong Up in Smoke.

My mom got it for him because it was one of the first movies they saw together. You know what

I had the same thing with the George Harrison look in 3-rd grade, but I cut my hair short-ish now and it looks good because my face grew up or something. I dunno.

At least if you cut it now, you have all summer to let it grow back. Plus, it really is quicker to blow dry, which helps during the summer when the sun is all "Im gonna make everyones hair staticky."

What are you doing this summer? Have a spare two weeks here and there?

I don't know if you've ever heard of Athena's Train, but it's an all-girl 18-and-under group of kids who put together a Shakespeare play in two weeks during the summer and perform at a local venue for a weekend. It's really awesome, ask me about it online (AIM: simian empyrean) or call me (801-7621 (cell)). I'm directing this year.

Anyway, I hope you'll be able to! You won't regret it!

I've heard of that, and I really wanted to do it before, but I've been too busy. This summer, from June 13-July 24, I'm going to be at Governor's School. I'm basically trapped there until then, but if you do it after those, I would love to do it! What play are you going to do?

Probably The Taming of the Shrew; I think it would be nice and ironic with an all-girl cast and what-have you. It's looking like AT is going to happen in early July, because that seems to be the time our producer can do it, but I can't find another director, and if I don't, I might make Mary Hes do it when she comes back from France, which is about when you get back from Gov. school. Anyway, I'll let you know, and if not, you should be in it next year.
