I think it's like a Rite of Passage for the 360; they all need to go through it before they can be considered "real Xbox's". You would think that Microsoft would have considered this problem as being an issue *before* they released the console, but no, apparently not. It would be hard to believe they didn't know of the potential of it occuring, since something like 9 out of 10 are struck by this mysterious ailment of three-red-quadrants that resembles a plague of biblical proportions. Of course, onlyby painting a white mark on your 360's faceplate can you protect it from such things.
Well After calling them they said that they have extended the warranty for complaints relating to the 3 red quadrants from 1 year to 3 and anyone who had to pay to get the problem fix before this date is getting thier money back so thats a good thing!
Considering how the only thing that did go wrong with it was due to physical decay of a piece of plastic due to overuse while the hardware was perfectly intact... I've been saying it for a good while now. And it's still going strong.
It's funny how there's actually more upcoming games I want for PS2 then there are for PS3. Overpriced piece of baloni.
