Has there been any lore fluff on how they're getting around the static buildup associated with FTL travel? 600 years without somewhere to discharge could be a problem.

Wouldn't the auto nav on the arks be dropping out of FTL to periodically discharge? That could be why it's taking 600 years

You need somewhere to discharge it, planets are what's usually used.

I haven't seen anything. I'm sure there'll be an explanation but it'll probably appear in a codex, rather than being addressed directly in the plot.

You know, Papa Ryder might be voiced by Clancy Brown, but he looks terrifyingly like John Malkovich in a bad wig

I've done some thinking, I've done some light googling, now I'm just going to ask. What the hell is "crisis response"?

New character profiles for Liam and Cora are up on the official site. I'm going to go ahead and assume that we'll get profiles for most if not all of the Pathfinder team eventually.

Also Caroline Livingstone revealed on twitter that Liam is voiced by Gary Carr and Jules de Jongh is Cora!

No ages for them yet. Intentional or oversight?

Liam is 6 ft tall, Cora is 5'6" (which makes me an inch taller than her).

Edit: I like that Cora is a vanguard. Or at least can do a biotic charge. That's a rare talent for NPCs to have.

I've been trying to figure out what classes the the companions are, and that pretty much lays it out what Cora's class will be - and it would be "interesting" to have party member do biotic charge if that blurb is for real.

Liam however. What the hell is he even? I'm starting to suspect that the companions aren't real classes.

I thought Liam might be an engineer given his background (I'm sure I saw something about him studying engineering before becoming a cop), but it sounds like he's more of a soldier-type with some tech abilities. Maybe they're using the previous classes as a basis, but changing them up a bit to make things more interesting? I've got to go back and analyse the gameplay trailers now to see what sort of skills they have, haha.
