This has nothing to do with Andromeda and everything to do with needing someone in the ME fandom to squee with me rather than look at me like I've lost my mind, which is a fair and good assessment from my RL people in this respect.
So here's a link to a thing I found on Deviant Art. Dear sweet baby elcor jesus. It's wonderful. And completely worksafe. This is Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde as Shep and Garrus fighting off Brutes that are clearly made of water buffaloes. I can't even stop giggling though. This is now my desktop wallpaper. I am dead. If this is a thing you also did not know you needed in your life, let me know because there is fic that goes with it.
Also, I'm on Xbox so I have to wait for next week for Andromeda, and I don't know what to do because I've been crazily busy with RL but I was determined to finish my ME3 playthrough before getting all up in the Pathfinder love. Conflicted, I say.
Dear friend, YES THERE IS. Again, part one, totally worksafe and so, SO on point, I can't even. Just yes.
BE AWARE HOWEVER that chapter two begins with an absolutely spectacular action scene rife with UST, and then ends in graphic interspecies shower pr0nz (I mean, fair play, it's pretty well written, but you know, fair warning). Apparently part two and the art were a commission, and the commissioner wanted explicit fic. *cough*
I flirted with most of the initial crew as a female Ryder, results (and advice on how to comfortably do it in the 10 hour window) below. As few spoilers as I can manage.
I hope the spoiler cut works if not I apologise!
[Spoiler (click to open)]So once you get onto to the Tempest you will be prompted to go the the bridge and go to a planet to do a mission. Go to the bridge, open up the space travel console and then cancel and exit. This will open up the Tempest's crew to talk to properly without having to do the long planet mission first

Possibly! It could also be Gil, especially if they're doing the same "the gay and lesbian love interests are human and not on your squad" thing as ME3.
This video review of the CC expressed my feelings about it pretty well: good, but could have been better. No story spoilers, only a very thorough look at what all is in the CC including facial construction and character background.

I completed my 10 hour trial! I spent it all in the MP. It's incredibly fun. At first it felt really hectic and fast paced, but after several matches I had adjusted.
[thoughts and a couple screenshots] Some thoughts & observations:- Human male soldier is bugged and seems to be one of the main reasons people are crashing and getting slow-mo. Human female soldier appears to be fine

Kits I tried out:
- Human Adept: Pretty amazing, has Pull, Singularity and Shockwave. I love the new Shockwave animation. I got her to level 7 and rank 6 I believe. I used the Charger on her, and her cooldowns honestly weren't that bad. A very fun biotic kit that can make her own explosions. - Asari Adept: Also a ton of fun. She has Throw, Annihilation Field, and Lance. I LOVE Lance. It doesn't lock on, so it needs to be aimed, but it's kind of like throw that does a bunch of damage. Annihilation field is a little different than in me3, but because of everything having a unique cooldown, you can get two biotic explosions off quickly. - Asari Huntress: I did 1 match with her. She has Stealth Grid, Lance and Throw. She can't set off biotic explosions by herself sadly. :( Stealth Grid cloaks allies, but I didn't really get time to explore it much. - Human Sentinel: Has Throw, Barricade, and Energy Drain. Barricade is fucking awesome. She puts up a little barricade that gives shield regen to everyone behind it. I

Were you on PC? I didn't experience any kind of lagging. I dropped a match a couple of times, but since that happened to me on ME3, I figure it's my network, not the game.
I didn't play MP as much, only enough to get a female engie up to level 4 I think. I still haven't figured out the d-pad signals. Are they the same as ME3?
I hope the balance changes help. I thought bronze was really hard. I used to do Silver all the time in ME3--challenging but not crazy. Bronze in MEA seems like the new silver. lol Maybe I just need to level up more and get more comfortable with the controls.
But overall, my experience with it was positive. I got hooked on the main game though, so I'm not sure when I'm getting back to MP.

Yep, I was on PC. Were you on XB1?
The controls are not entirely the same. I spent 10 hours playing the game and I still have no clue how to dodge LOL. There is a jetpack dodge, which is essentially the me3 dodge, but I've seen videos where people are dodging on the ground and I cannot figure it out. -_-
Bronze did feel tough! Especially with a Avenger 1, enemies were basically bullet sponges. But when I think back to my first bronze days in me3, I remember dying and failing missions on wave 1. I was basically running around clueless. :D So I think it's just adjusting to a new game, and having everything at level 1. By the end of the trial I was able to extract from silver and it wasn't super painful. I'm just chalking it up to the initial learning curve.
