Probably spend a few hours switching between derping around Eos and multiplayer. After three attempts during the trial to wrangle the character creator to my satisfaction, I doubt I'll be starting over before I have a complete playthrough under my belt.

I know it's traditional to use needles or fire, but I've always found that sneezing on a voodoo doll is a much better option.

Guys. Guys. My pre-download finished this morning. I'm so excited. :P

Last I checked, I was downloading the Day One patch, so I should be all ready (outside of an underpowered CPU on that machine) for midnight EDT.

I wish people who bought physical copies could pre-download stuff. Mine will be arriving via Prime delivery tomorrow. Hopefully early since I took the day off. :D

Fingers crossed for an early delivery! When I was getting physical copies, mine usually arrived before noon. I like the pre-load option, but ngl I miss having physical copies of the media because ugh, my network.

That's been my experience too, so I have high hopes!

I wouldn't mind a digital copy, but my hard drive space is so limited as it is. :/

But in the meantime, I can fiddle around with the Apex app.

Anyhoo, I'm waiting for the EU release and have Friday as day off from work! Yay!

Oh and do we know if we can change Sara/Scott's default names and if that will affect the dialogue? I think at some point there was rumor of companions referring to us with our first names...?

Yes, you can change Sara/Scott's default names, but reportedly if you don't, then the other NPCs might refer to you by first name.

I can confirm this is so. There are still plenty of folks who call you "Ryder," but I've heard "Sara" quite a lot too.
