F!Shepard is always helping everyone else, but hardly anyone ever asks how she's doing. I'd like to see Kaiden get some angry/protective emails from past crew members who heard about Horizon.

Bonus points for Garrius, tali, and all sending them and Shepard having no idea they'd even noticed she was upset.

Ok i say this as an actually pretty big fan of Kaiden.

This was a fantastic fill, and i love the reactions of the crew.

Especially Garrus, Tali, and Legions.

I don't actually hate Kaidan. I like him just fine. I just disagree with what passed for his character developement in ME2. BioWare dropped the ball on it and I felt the need to express my opinion.
Thanks to this prompt, I could do it shamelessly. :)

OP - I don't hate Kaiden either. My main Shepard even remained loyal to him. I just think he could use a few strongly worded emails to get his head on straight. And it's also fun to see the other crew members stick up for Shepard. :)

I'm so glad a real Kaidan fan like you enjoyed this little fic. And especially I'm glad you're spot on about what I was trying to convey.

You could see it being Chakwas' email address because she's like Helen Mirren! Massive mature hotness, that's why! :)

I think I might do more emails, but I have to figure out how to handle them first. I will include Ken and Gabby, definitely, and of course they will write the email together.

I am not a Kaidan fan, but I don't like character-bashing fics either. You managed to hit the right balance of attacking him for his actions without attacking his character. It's very human reaction of all the characters, and this actually made me like Kaidan more. I found his personality rather bland, but the idea that he can inspire such strong reactions in people makes him more appealing.

Anyway, the teal deer version of all that is this was fantastic and I heartily enjoyed it.

So what Miranda is saying is that the Normandy crew doesn't have any money. What they do have is a set of very specialized skills, skills they've learned over a long career, skills that make them a nightmare for him...

I loved this... Legion is my love. He's like a lost little puppy and I just wanna hug him! It's nice to see him as protective of Shep as she is of him!
