Wrex & Bakara

What's this, no love for Urdnot Bakara, aka Eve?
She and Wrex made me so happy. I would love to read a fill with these two. Sex unnecessary. If krogan lovin' drives you, I am more than happy to read that as well, but basically I'm looking for fluff. Well, as fluffy as you can get with krogan. But you get the picture.
Hatching 1/??

Wrex found her in the nursery, and for a few minutes, he kept his distance. In theory, Bakara ought to have been enjoying some rest. He had not. With the Reapers gone, it was all he could do to recall his people to Tuchanka instead of letting them ride a wave of bloodlust to finish off Palaven, or storm Sur’Kesh

She shifted her weight against him unexpectedly and Wrex automatically put a supportive arm just beneath her hump. Everyone thought all krogan were massive, hulking beasts, but she felt too thin to him, her hump smaller than it ought to be for a soon-to-be-busy mother. Wrex trusted she wasn’t harming herself, but doing the bare minimum couldn’t be the best for her long term, either

But it was quiet. Everyone was holding their breath. Waiting.
Wrex didn’t know how long they sat there in the nursery, but it was long enough for him to lose track of time. Bakara was sleeping soundly, at least, one of the eggs twitching--
“Bakara,” he shook her a bit more than he’d intended, rattling a snarl out of her, “Bakara.”
“Wrex, not now,” she growled through a thick haze of sleep.
“Yes, now,” he insisted, eyes fixed on the egg that had moved, “One of the eggs movedShe was up in an instant, shifting forward in an awkward crouch, and Wrex would be damned if he wasn’t right there next to her, both of them doing their best imitations of varren rooting for a meal. There weren’t many positions krogan’s could be in and still look dignified

It was obvious, this time, the side of the thick shell bulging, the egg rocking a bit in the indent it was settled in. Both krogan froze then, only exchanging looks with their eyes.
“Did you see it that time?” he whispered. Wrex didn’t even know why he was whispering, but he was relieved he hadn’t just been imagining what he saw.
“Yes,” Bakara breathed.
“Should we help?” he tentatively reached for the egg, but Bakara slapped his hand. Hard. He yanked it back and resisted the urge to rub it. She was the expert here, but she didn’t have to be so damned grouchy about it!
“It needs to get out on its own,” Bakara said. He could hear, hell, he could see the strain in her. She wanted to help. Hell, he was tempted, but he understood the risks of helping. If they couldn’t get out of their shells, how could they survive their harsh homeworld

“You wouldn’t drop it,” he said gruffly, although he did see that her hands were unsteady. This was centuries of stillborns coming to an end, but it was taking its toll on poor Bakara. With his help, they carefully lifted the egg and put it in Bakara’s lap. Some of the other eggs were rocking and twitching now, but not as much as the first. Just seeing so many at once... Wrex focused on just the one for now, to avoid being overwhelmed. For a moment, it seemed like the sudden move had scared the hatchling, but sure enough, once it was settled again, it started to fight and push. Distinct cracks formed in the side of the thick, leathery shell and Wrex huddled as close as he dared. He usually didn’t attend hatchings. They were grim, depressing affairs, and being around despondent krogan females was a good way to get some new scars.
He’d never been so close, before, and so far Bakara hadn’t told him to back off.
“Come on,” Wrex urged. Not impatient - well, a little - but just... eager, “All the pyjack you can eat, out here.

Bakara threw him off entirely in the next moment as she handed him the peeping, squirmy hatchling, hovering over the next egg that looked ready to hatch
