James Vega, Alliance marine, N7 candidate, among other things, was currently worrying over his Argus rifle, the heavy gun disassembled on the table before him as he went over every component. They had touched down on this planet a few hours ago, the commander and Garrus heading out with what looked like cutting gear. He wondered what they could possibly be looking for, Alchera wasn’t known for any useful resources, the icy planet having remained resolutely un-colonized since it was discovered

That was absolutely brilliant, AA. This world needs more humorous, witty fills like this!! I really needed that and while I've actually never played male Shepard, I enjoyed how you wrote him - Space Bros FTW! Garrus is precious in here and OMG - you have music! Great music! And hilarious Javik (serves him right, muahahaha!) I would've only liked this fill better if it served cookies and ice-cream through the read; I'm really, positively and 110% delighted with what you wrote! Thank you a million, A!A.
Thank you so much for your comment, I'm glad you like the story.
I was actually wondering when you were going to check in, although the story was only posted a few days ago. I am frankly shocked at the amount of positive feedback I've gotten from this story and thank you for posting such a cool prompt.

That was an INCREDIBLE read. Holy shit, I lost my shit so many times laughing and snorting and giggling over this. I would love to read anything else you have!
What is this captcha you speak of. This was my first fill, so I might as well ask someone, I've seen it before, but I don't understand the significance.
Captcha is the little thing you have to fill out before replying anon (it stands for "Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart").
Sometimes the words are nonsense, sometimes they're reeeally hard to read even for an authentic human, and sometimes the word choice perfectly goes along with the comment! :D

(Heroically fistpumps) Yes! I am so glad that my first fill has been met with such positive results, on the same day no less! Thank you all for your comments, I'll try to write more stories for the Meme in the future, thanks again.

Oh dear god this was hilarious, I laughed myself to tears. Tali and Javik's reactions were priceless ("Tanks should not fly!") and the way Garrus and Shepard were all deadpan "no, no, it's cool" bros throughout the mess was amazing - you can see how they got to be best friends, they're both insane. All the details of the Mako's badassedness were especially fun. My favorite part was “We’re fine,” he said, looking at the readouts. “the thrusters should take us in nice and easy.” [snip] “Yeah,” said Shepard, “Thrusters are dead.” Almost killed me. Awesome fill.
Thank you for your comment. Now having written my first story I finally understand the importance of comments and reviews, seeing that other people enjoyed my story as much as I did feels better than I ever would have thought, thanks again.
