[not OP] This is so awesome, I love it. I'm just imagining Shep sending awkward "well my turian says/does this, does that mean he wants me too?" questions to this poor lady and the lady being like "omg Shep wants my advice on relationships? wtf?!"

Aw! I loved this. It's nice to see a tough, female civilian now and then. And I really enjoyed that bit at the end in the email. Awkward Shepard is cute.

This was so beautifully written that I had to keep reading even though Het isn't my thing, I get emails of when something is update and delete more than 85%, I love how you imbued this with her feelings of love, how she was able to defend her sick boyfriend. And how there was a happy ending, I was really worried that he was going to die soon but then Shepard showed up and I *knew* all would be well. Well done a!a, I really enjoyed it.

Also, thank you for having their relationship take a little time. It annoys me how everyone seems to jump into bed with everyone else on the first date, this was a plesant change of pace.
