A response to this prompt:
Post-ME3 LI Angst - A Future That Will Never Be
Shepard didn't walk into that last battle intending to die. LI is going through Shepard's things/computer/omnitool backup etc after either the Control or Synthesis ending, and finds Shepard's plans for the future.
For example, the LI might find sketches/blueprints for a house (though this would be especially poignant for Tali). Maybe they find extranet bookmarks for baby clothes, or engagement rings (an alien LI could find pages about their culture's marriage traditions). There might be an accidentally recorded audio file on the omnitool - Shepard just thinking out loud, wondering to themselves about meeting their LI's family/parents, or about where they might want to settle down after the war.
Make me cry for what might have been, author!anons.

A!A here... Oh my goodness, thank you so much! And a humongous thank you to everyone else who left comments as well.
I'm sorry for not replying sooner (I haven't figured out how to follow posts so I get notified automatically if there's a new comment). I'm seriously blown away that you would do this for me! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Seeing this totally made my day, and I'm just... I have no words for how happy this made me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

It's no problem, I'm just happy that you don't mind the unsolicited art. It was kind of the only way for me to work through the melancholy you inspired. (Not that it was a bad thing..! I love this fill so much.)
As for the other issue, when you're logged in, there should be an option on each post to "Track This" or something similar? If you click that, and then the "More Options" bit, you should be able to customise how you get notifications for comments on each of ariamods' posts. (I really hope I'm being clear on this... it's late and I'm out of tea.)

Thank you! Forgive my ignorance, but do you have to have a paid account to be able to track notifications on individual threads? When I tried the 'Track This' option, I can get notifications for all comments on everything, but the option to get notifications on the individual thread was un-selectable.

Y'know... I never looked. I don't mind getting comments for the whole post (since it lets me set aside prompts I want to look at later or keep track of sweet fills I want to comment on when I get a chance) so I'm not sure if that's a paid-only deal. Sorry if it's not what you want. That's the only way I know how to get the notifications in your inbox. :/

Thank you so much for your help with this - truly! I've enabled the notifications for all comments, I just wasn't sure if there was some setting I was missing to be able to do it for individual threads as well. :)

You're welcome. :) Yeah, I couldn't figure out why I was not able to track individual threads. I thought it was a browser issue or something. Now I just track everything. It does allow me to see prompts and some threads I might not have looked at otherwise. :)

I felt a little weird posting it unsolicited, but if it's appreciated by anyone, then I'm totally satisfied.
