FemShep/Liara baby post ME2

What if during a night on Hagalaz Liara mapped Shepard's DNA assuming she would not survive her Suicide Mission. Obviously this alters all of ME3's story line with their child.
Can be short, such as regarding Shepard's feelings when she finds out about the child (pre arrest or post Mars (in me3)).
Or long, a run through of ME3 with their daughter.
Also, Liara can either still be pregnant (I'd imagine asari have longer gestation period than humans). Or, Shepard spent a longer amount of time incarcerated and Liara gave birth before the Reaper attack on Earth.
Bonus for short!fill FatherxDaughter bonding time! And a brief happy family moment.
If A!A wants can be BroShep, though I prefer F!Shep.

Much as this idea intrigues me, I can't give you more than this little thing at the moment, A!A. Sorry about that. The peom mentioned here is from John Milton's Comus
...
The loft was silent for a long time after Liara finished speaking. The asari held her breath, afraid to even look at Shepard, but knowing that she'd had to tell the human everything. There was no way she could have kept the knowledge to herself during a meld.
The commander sat on the bed, face buried in her hands. "How old?" she asked again, for the fifth time. Maybe for the sixth.
"Just a few months." Two months and three weeks and one day and six-no, seven hours.
"Months," Shepard repeated. "Months. Gee, you'd think you could've managed to include a mention of her in one of those emails you sent to me. 'Everyone here on Mars has been so very kind, if a bit distant. They all love the baby, though. Oh, by the way, I can't remember if I told you, but we have a daughter. She's blue, obviously, and she can't sit up on her own yet, but she appears to be

"We have to go back," Shepard said coolly. "To Mars. We have to go get her."
"What?" Liara looked up, disbelieving. "We cannot! You were there, Shepard, you saw the Reapers landing on the planet! There is no way-Even if Cerberus hadn't-"
Shepard stood. The sudden movement forced Liara to fall back onto her heels. "No!" The soldier balled her hands into fists. "I can't just leave her there." Her voice broke. "I'm her dad. I'm her dad, Liara, I'm supposed to protect her! How could you have let me just run towards the archives when you knew she was-"
"We couldn't have saved her and the data both! And without the data, everyone's daughters would have been killed by the Reapers!"
"I would have gotten the data back from Cerberus! How are we going to get her back?"
"Don't you think it killed me when I realized what we had to do? When I realized that I'd never see her smile again? That I'd never see you hold her?"
"You had months with her. Months, and you hid her from me. I've got nothing, Liara. Nothing, and we can'

O.P. here. Did you hear that sound? That was the sound of my heartbreaking into a billion pieces. I read this in the morning and went to my classes feeling...empty. Despite that, this was brilliantly written and just beautiful in a sad way.
My heart went out to Shepard, although for Liara to know that she was leaving her daughter behind...damn
Anyways, were you planning on writing another fill for this prompt? If so I would love to see it one day!

Holy crap, A!A, I followed the link thinking yay blue babies! But no. That was...not at all what I expected. But soooo good. Holy crap. How do you have more kids after that? o.o It certainly makes the rest of the game make so much more sense.
Wow, anons, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to upset you all! (Although I don't know what I was thinking would happen when I filled the prompt in this way). I guess I owe you all another, less-depressing fill. I'll get right on that. (Although it's already being done awesomely!)
