Mama bear Shepard and Grunt

Because the world needs more mama bear FemShep.
Basically I want to see Femshep's reaction to the nearly botched mission with Aralakh company and Grunt's near death, while she's watching over him in the Normandy's med lab. No pairings, unless you want to throw some in, just Shepard coming to terms with almost losing Grunt - she is almost like a surrogate mother to him in a way - and he in turn offering comfort.

Bonus points:
- Awkward hugs are love Anons.
- Not too much angst if you can help it.

I take my hat off to you A!A. This is a masterful piece of writing, Grunt and Shepard's relationship comes across SO DAMN WELL. Authors like you are the reason I started writing. So keep being awesome, and thank you for writing.

Great story and I loved how you told it - the short, punctuated style not only works but it fits a story about Grunt so well.

On a random note, I always thought that if you squint and look sideways, Grunt kind of is like a human and turian mixed with a krogan.
