Miranda's voice was raised in mock outrage, breathless as she was forced back onto her bed.
"There are regulations, we can't-"
"I am your superior officer, soldier."
Jack's voice was imperious, loudly cutting off Miranda's fake protests.
"I say jump, you say how high. I say calibrate the guns, you calibrate. I say strip, you stripShe crawled slowly up Miranda's body, Shepard's open, borrowed jacket hanging loosely from her thin frame. Miranda didn't respond, her eyes shining excitedly as Jack gave her a teasing half-smile
