The Twins are now my favorite baseball team. I grew up with the Giants and stayed with them through good times and bad. But I've been in Minnesota for about 17 years and I really admire the way the Twins play and the way they operate the organization. There is one quote I like that's pro DH, "The only thing more boring than watching a pitcher bat is watching a manager think." I still follow the Giants (Cain is a very good starting pitcher and it's been decades since they've had a young starter throwing heat.), but I'd rather see a hit & run, a single stretched to a double and a diving put out then see Bonds hit another solo shot to right.
The other plus for the Twins is they know how to devlop and keep young talent. The Giants would always trade away their young stars.
