Choir Update
Ok, I tracked down the itinerary of the trip in New Zealand. They started off at Rivendale, over to Gondor, Helms Deep, then they have a concert for Xena and Hercules in Teribithia. They're skipping Mordor because it has terrible acoustics

(seriously, you wouldn't believe how irate Kiwis ended up getting, with people actually referring to places in this way....or perhaps you would?)
At any rate, I had lived for a number of years in the southern city of Christchurch, by the time I left NZ, but I did most of my growing up in and around Nelson. A lovely place.

Finally got a letter from L. He writes he is "not homesick yet", and when he gets home he would like to have "scotch cookies with tea". I can only assume we'll have to sing "God Bless the Queen" when he returns.
