On the plus side, statistically speaking, apparently the taller of any two presidential candidates usually wins.

That does highlight one of the problems, though.

Rightwing extremists always get out and vote (religiously, one might say). So, come to think of it, do leftwing extremists. It's sort of a characteristic of extremists!

But the middle of the road people are generally the ones are apathetic about it or who become disillusioned with the whole deal, over time, and just stop bothering. :S
