........Yeah we're never going to see Gligar again. If there's one thing that frustrates me about the anime is that whenever Ash promises to see his old Pokemon again someday he's usually LYING. ;_;
I have come to accept that aside from the original Kanto trio, they're never bringing back released Pokemon :'( (except Lapras that one time BUT WHO CARES ABOUT THAT THING). It really sucks when Pokemon like Pidgeot live RIGHT NEXT DOOR IN THE FOREST. C'mon Ash!1
I do like that they're at least making him use old Oak'd pokemon for the league. He has a lot of Johto pokes that got little to no screentime at all.
YEAH THERE'S A LOT THAT ISN'T COVERED 8|a;; I'm hoping they work it into B/W somehow. They were doing so well incorporating game characters since the Hoenn!Battle Frontier arc. Depending on how long the Sinnoh League lasts will probably determine how many more cameos we get.
YOU REALLY SHOULD. Watch the 3 part Galactic finale if anything. IT'S DONE SO WELL, nearly movie quality :|a There's a loooot I like about D/P, fillers aside.
I too lol'd hard when Princess Salvia was like FFFFFFFFFFFF at Dawn's short skirt. FINALLY, SOMEONE CANONLY ADDRESSES IT. ♥
And... ahur, it still amuses me how quickly Kenny was booted out of the GF and isn't even going to stay on for commentary. It's like the anime actually granted one of my wishes for once. Though the more important one is that Nando doesn't sneak in and usurp the League victory that Ash rightfully deserves. :| Or Conway. Barry's too immature and Paul deserves a kick in the pants. But the balance is SO SO RIGHT with Ash/Paul/Barry/Conway why why why would they go shove a fifth wheel in theeeere it's the actual good storyline of D/P for the love of goooooood~.
KENNY WAS SO DISAPPOINT. I mean he bores me a lot, but honestly now, it's like "...why were you even here!" This kinda makes me think if they do keep Dawn for B/W, we'll be seeing him again :/a bah.
Man I would love Nando so much more if he were just this random musical bard trainer (seriously why do you dress like that Nando!) that just popped up to give advice and give the twerps a nudge, kind of like Scott in the BF arc. The four-way rivalry is pretty balanced, and I can't wait to see whatever everyone thinks of SUDDENLY--CONWAY!! I'm hoping they run into him before the league actually starts, too.
auuuugggghhh I would beat my head into the wall. I can see where you're coming from about Dawn possibly staying beyond D/P, if only because Piplup's still a giant cash cow and they'll have to pull another golden goose of a starter out of their ass that'll be a for-sure sell and there's no way that they'll know how that'll work out, hah. And unless Dawn ditches some of her current team at home after D/P (which... I can at least see her doing with Pachirisu and Buneary), there's no slots left for her to promote any Gen V Pokemon, so it is indeed a conundrum... but yeah, after all this I think Kenny should have stayed a one-shot (or two-shot if we count the two-parter) because Kenny really only existed to a) Teach Ash's Turtwig Energy Ball (which anyone could have done or Turtwig could've come up with entirely on its own) and b) Show off the entirety of the Piplup line, which has now become pointless now that Kenny has Empoleon. We've got Barry for shilling that already, sheesh. Because he didn't even get to capitalize on the whole

Aaaaaaaugh, if Kenny returns as a MAIN rival?? No, just. No. I don't see how the writers could possibly think he'd be a good foil for Ash. Ash barely acknowledges him other than "o Dawn's friend that acts weird when she compliments him or talks to other guys 8|a!" At the moment I can't possibly think of them completely getting rid of Paul as the main rival (unless he's pulls a Silver and becomes a good-side jerk) and when placed next to Kenny. . .Kenny may as well be a character of the day.
(Also on that note if there IS a new rival, since Gary was a good-guy jerk that was equal to Ash, and Paul was a douche that was arguably stronger than Ash, I can only think they'd decided to get a NICE GUY that is stronger than Ash/Zoe-type and that kinda makes me sad :'( )
Hahaha I would laugh so hard if Conway popped up at the end of the GF all "NICE PERFORMANCE THERE 8) *GLASSES FLASH*" His inclusion is somewhat out to the blue so HOPEFULLY they'll explain that.
