obedience...the universe doesnt give us orders we are not ready to obey. but why is it that when we receive an order & it is one we want to obey...one that pleases us...that we are sure is alignd with or path, yet that causes others pain & stress...we second guess our 'hearing'? That completely resonated with me too. It's very hard to hurt the ones you care about even when you know it's what you got to do.

To believe that we are "being selfish" or "hurting others" when following our calling is like presuming we know what is "best" for everyone else involved.

Ultimately, we can't ever truly know. The most authentic we can do is be true to our path and trust that by doing so, the best will be in place for all others that are touched by the concentric circles of our actions.

And, yes... with compassion and tenderness, but not with the attempt to "make it better" because sometimes the pain is exactly the impetus to bring about the greatness in that person.

Who are we to decide?

grins @ you...and that 2d to last sentence was the hardest of the lessons I had to learn at this last Butchmanns...but learn it I have... I sure as hell dont have to like it. smile

In my understanding, the Universe gives only lessons. That is Hawk's message, that Lessons are coming. It is Life which presents opportunities, challenges and tests that require us to use the judgment and wisdom that come from those lessons.

The path itself is always sure. The filters through which we see the way are what prevent us from moving forward.
