It appears that no one is interested in helping me interpret a verse from the Bible... how disappointing. Where is the love, people? :-/

Im sorry dougie...I dont know anything about the bible. Never read it. Have no desire too considering Im an atheist.

first of all, it's 10:34, there is no 10:44 in matthew... secondly, as is often the case when trying to make a point the verse is taken out of context..
