Child advocacy?

On the Magic City Music Hall schedule for July 24: "Child Advocacy Drag Show and Fund-Raiser". Who would have thought that 'child advocacy' and 'drag show' would go together? "Alright guys... We're going to dress like women, for the children!!" Did I miss something?
