For the next two weeks, Becky's parents will be out of town. We will be staying here to take care of the little three-pound puff that they call a dog. And the good news is: I have a new job. I was offered a job at TruGreen ChemLawn. It's a sales job, which wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but my most important criteria for a job were met: 1. I think orange might be my new color... What do y'all think?

Between November 20, 2005 and today, I have submitted 115 job applications. That activity has yielded me 2 interviews and a phone interview. One of the three is a face-to-face interview scheduled for Monday of this week. Wish me luck.

I hosted a party at the Hampton Inn and Suites where we rung in the new year. It entailed the usual things... champagne, bunch of people, ball drop, and drunken chenanigans. Overall, a good time. Looking forward to seeing the pics.

Nearly everyone knows that I am perhaps on of the cheapest bastards on the face of the Earth... second in cheapness only to my stepfather. A while back, a dim-witted guest threw a lit cigarette into a large planter/vase-like thing outside the lobby doors of the hotel. Wouldn't ya know, it caught on fire.
