Sometimes I wonder if I'm too tough on reviews of iPhone games when they crash to the home screen. I mean, the native iPhone apps that ship with the unit crash all the time, too. How to Train Your Dragon is hands-down the best family movie I have seen in a very long time. Mostly because it is a darn good movie without the "Family" qualifier, much like Emperor's New Groove. There is a lot more wordplay in the movie than you might expect from something aimed at a younger audience, and almost all of the jokes are still funny ( Read more... )

I must say, I am not terribly enamored with the Blu-Ray experience. When you put a DVD into the drive, what do you get? Well, if it's an old DVD--back when DVDs were awesome--you got sent straight to a menu screen where you could immediately play the movie.
