I know you were looking forward to it, but I don't think I could be happy about a friend of mine going out to be a bullet-catcher. I know that you'd gain a sense of pride if you managed to get out of the current problems unscathed. I'm sorry that your knees kept you out of what you wanted to pursue, but Jake, listen to me, if you need any sort of assistance in getting into college, feel free to ask me. I will do anything in my power to help you out, hell, I'll do all the paperwork if I have to, just as long as you understand what's going on. You're a smart kid, Jake, you should use that to your benefit. (College really ain't that hard)
