At the most basic level, you are right, Obi-Wan. A Jedi does his best to have as few needs as possible. This frees him from attending to his own needs and allows him to see to the needs of others.

But it does no harm to let others know that you appreciate them, either. You are a bright spot in my life, Padawan, and I know that I do not let you know that nearly as often as I should.
