This was definitely a refreshing take on the whole religion thing, as more often than not, the religious characters in a story like this would actually be the ones to pass judgment, and not the ones who'd try and understand and actually bother to offer support. I’m not a religious person myself, but I particularly enjoyed how, instead of resorting to clichés and stereotypes, you cared enough to show how different people can be, despite their similar personal beliefs. How good, and how bad, people can be, religious or not.

I definitely felt for Jared in this story, and was glad that he found the happy ending he deserved. All in all, this was a most enjoyable read.

Thank you :) I grew up in a very religious family and attended a Christian school for many years and I've seen both sides of the coin. I thought maybe others hadn't and I wanted to share the good sides. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Wonderful, wonderful story. So many sad bits, so many sweet bits. Liked Katie's character, very funny. Liked Jeff's character, so supportive and strong. But Jensen's character really struck me. Really liked how you combined his faith and his naivete and his genuine desire to be with Jared, even if he didn't fully understand why. Jensen's family was so fantastic, and such a relief for Jared to be able to be a part of. His coming out to his parents, his standing up against the bullies, and him being the one to kiss Jared first?! Loved it. And I'm convinced that Jared was right, that Mark was in love with Jensen and hated himself for it. Great, great job.

*quick hug to deansgirl369 for her awesomeness*

Lol. Oh, and, the blanket under the stars thing? I'm just going to go ahead and picture them going back there to have crazy hot sex for their one year anniversary. I'm doing it.
