Eeeek! I'm late! I've been so out of the loop for the last few days and I just now saw this!

First off--thank you. Very very much. I love it. From the title straight down to the last word. This introduction of the characters is so wonderful, Jensen's internal dialogue and the way he fancies himself such a loner and tries to be badass--and then enter Jared, who worms his way into Jensen with his generous smiles and openness and all around larger than life personality. I also adore the way you've built the world here, just enough detail to let our imaginations fill in the blanks, but at the same time you keep it centered entirely on the characters. And, yay! All the snark and the jokes in the midst of a goddamn dire situation. I'm a sucker for a post-apocalyptic world, as well as roadtrip fic, and you've blended these so well within a sort of coming of age story--basically a trifecta of awesome! Plus, ZOMBIEFIC. A gal couldn't ask for more. So so great. Again. Thank you! ♥!
