Summer usually brings low expectations from my entertainment, but I have found a few things this summer that I really liked:

The Middleman - I LOVE this show! I saw the creator at a panel at Comic Con and recorded the last four episodes because I was curious. I finally got around to seeing one and was smitten from the first ten minutes. Natalie

So, tlace says that the Middleman episodes are here (http://community.abcfamily.go.com/watch/middleman), so they are on-line if you want to try to watch them that way. I think I might try it to see the vampire bat epi you recommended.

Glad you liked the books, although you may be more into them than I am right now. I just tried to read the latest and skipped through a bunch. I think I want Mick and Nora (and how did I not get the Thin Man reference till you pointed it out!) to fish or cut bait already. The back and forth is starting to annoy me. But the first ones I really liked, so I'm glad you did too.

I have one last M/N book to go. They just called off the engaement, but at least they had a valid reason. I am less enthralled with the parade of men that seem to be hinted at competition with Mick, but we will see. The library has the last one. I will see what I think after that one. I do think the mysteries are falling apart, but I still find their relationship interesting. Tigers, really?

Huh. Maybe I didn't just read the latest, cuz I just half-read the tiger one. Which, yeah, she seems to be reaching just a bit.

Just a bit! I was rolling my eyes so hard I thought I would break something.

There is one after that I just picked up. Something about their parents coming back. I hope it is more grounded in reality!
