I'm kind of surprised it's taken them so long to have a baby, given how long they have been together, but my guess is that she feels secure enough career-wise to move forward. And yes, I am happy for them. Although, male Alexises at this point just make me feel a little weird. Fanfic question: Does this spawn some new Wes-and-Willow-make-a-baby fic? I'm sure there's some out there somewhere, right?

I doubt that baby Alexis will be named after daddy, but I guess it must be weird for you. Does anyone ever thing you are a he, rather than a she? I always think of Alexis as a girl's name, but I am sheltered that way.

People don't tend to think I'm a boy -- maybe if I was in Russia? There are so many little girls running around named Alexis that I think the name has been pretty much co-opted here in the states. Still seems weird when I read it though. He's apparently going to be on Private Practice soon, so it's nice that he is getting some work, too.

True with the mysteriously disappearing baby. She could give birth and the kid could never be heard from again. But I doubt it, and I love the team dynamic the way it is. Let's root for no baby on the show, yea baby in real life.
