So yeah, I've got Spider-Man 3 and Ratatouille on DVD for my birthday, and they're giving away some pretty sweet goodies with DVDs now. Of course, they only have a limited number of free gifts, so you gotta snatch them up fast before they're gone.

The Spider-Man DVD came with five post cards, which were fantastic, except the New Goblin came out ( Read more... )

Wow, now I REALLY wanna get that Ratatouille DVD. One of the girls in my animation class brought it one day and we got to watch it while we worked. I loved the short 'Your Friend the Rat' very clever and with good 2d animation to boot! But if you do the creepy pervert thing in that outfit, I'll have to brick you. XD

Did you notice on the cover of the DVD that Linguini has peach fuzz on his chin, OMG! Seriously, lookie here to see (I couldn't find a bigger pic, but next time you look at the DVD cover, you'll see!). Yeah, I liked that short, too. The 2D animation reminded me of the style they used in The Nutcracker Prince when Drosselmeyer is telling the Nutcracker's story to Clara.

That's the point for Halloween! To be scary and creepy! What, should I be Zombie!Linguini with a dead Remy rat on my head instead?

I think I spotted stubble on Linguini's chin during the movie, too. It's also there in some of the story reels and concept sketches I've seen. The animation style in the short is, I think, by the same people who did the end credit sequence, with all the different rats playing around with food. The style is pretty much identical.

Yeah, I know Halloween is supposed to be creepy, but not for little kids! Think of all the trauma you could cause them! If you have to do a creepy chef, do that German guy who 'killed a man with his thumb.' Or maybe one of the zombie cooks from 'the Corpse Bride. XD

... Really? You've gotta ... find stills for me, or something, because I never noticed it in the movie!

Awww, but traumatizing children is fun~ LOL Seriously, I don't even know any little children that I could scare like that. I live on the side of a highway, so no trick or treaters for us!
