I'm in Oklahoma and just finished a run and am sitting in the hot tub beer in hand when i came to a realization. Well, I survived my first night in the states. I am the NCOIC and have been trying to provide safe fun for the soldiers. I have organized transportation to get everyone everywhere. The elections are over. My heart is pounding. I feel like crying. Finally something positive on the news about what we are doing over here. I am glad i was here and this makes it all worth while. I lied. I was able to sneak on this computer. The elections are going well in the places that are reporting. Basrah is reporting 90% turnout... That makes the U.S. look like chumps. I guess this is the culmination of our efforts. I really hope it works out. I am glad i was here to see it. I hope George Bush wins!
