did you get that gin blossoms song :) and and hey, you have 15 gbs or 30 (i always forget)...you should just download!

just pick genres and search by that and then artists will pop up and ideas will form and it will all just flow :)

sorry it took me so long to reply; this post DID make me lose my mind and i just got out of the psy ward.

ANYWAYS, I don't really know what you've been listening to, so i'll just give you my current favs:

M. Doughty - former lead singer of soul coughing.
Mirah - an angel. really simple, sexy song writing.
Cursive - harder, on saddle creek records.
deerhoof - weird, cute, fun.
Sufjan Stevens - would be great even if he didn't have a cd about Michigan.
Cat Power - has a new cd out!!!

Let me know if you already have this stuff, or are looking for something in particular, or what you think about these bands once you've heard them.

I am a huge Cat Power fan from way back in the day. Thank you for the suggestions. You really went above and beyond. I will check them out and let you know what I think.
