Aw hell yeah.

Comment here with the name of your character(s) and the series they're from and I WILL TELL YOU WHAT I KNOW ABOUT THEM/IT/THINGS in one+ sentence. EVEN/ESPECIALLY IF WE'VE NEVER THREADED.

I ALWAYS MEAN TO START FIGURING OUT WHAT THE HELL PEOPLE'S CANONS ARE but my mind is the sievingest sieve so this should be fun.

stupid memes

Admiral ZEX (Star Control II), Necoco (Love Neko), and Abdullah (Castle in the Air).

...No one knows my canons, don't worry.

Star Control 2 is about alien wars, and oldschool PC gaming nerds remember it lovingly. ZEX is a tentacle alien who wants to lovingly caress essentially everything. ...Wait a second, I betaed your app didn't I, this is cheating. :|a

Necoco is a catboy yaoi sexbot. Love Neko is apparently about a catboy yaoi sexbot. This is probably a reasonable prediction of future technology, but I think your catboy yaoi sexbot might be on the fritz.

Castle in the Air is a book that wants to be Arabian Nights and probably has a lot of Capitalized Words, at least in spirit. There may or may not be a castle in the air? Abdullah is the world's most harmless man and tries to make up for it by saying as many very polite things as physically possible. He got a girlfriend so I guess he's good at it.

Raven (Tales of Vesperia), Perscitia (Temeraire) and Justin Law (Soul Eater)

Okay I've never played any Tales ofs except Destiny way back on the PSX ages and ages ago, and the little bits I've been exposed to about them all run together. Thus, I'm pretty sure they're all about standard fantasy parties going on standard fantasy journeys to save the world with some sort of Chosen One except then it turns out they were subverting everything all along and like the Chosen One is actually kind of a jerk!! Also, the characters in the party bitch at each other a lot which is a major selling point. There are ninjas and elves and mascot critters, but they never have talking swords anymore. I think Vesperia's twist is having extra elves, like 25% more elves than the next Tales of ( ... )

Raven is 35! Which is the classic old man age for Tales of games. But the milking it anyway to get away with not shaving bit is true.

I LOLed so much at Justin's though. IT'S TRUE, IN A CERTAIN SENSE...!

That's still not that old, it's fine!

...Also I kind of want to see a series about that idea for Justin now.

Boatmama from One Piece and Ema Skye from Apollo Justice! GOOOOOOO.

mastersparktion July 11 2010, 23:09:33 UTC
I know both of them! Boatmom is sexy and angsty and a little evil but only on the side of good now, and her favorite way to socialize is the same as mine, sitting off to the side with a book and giggling at her friends being stupid and occasionally pitching in. One Piece is about how pirates are stupid.

And... Oh, right, I never played Apollo Justice though. I still think of Ema as a fine young sidekick lass who is not as crazy as Maya. Apparently she grew up and wasted her life! But I have complete faith that Apollo Justice, like Phoenix Wright, is still about a very problematic judicial system.
