RESCUE in Kindai February 2009: Nakamaru and Massu
One more post here until my new year holidays will end!
I have already said my new year greeting to all the f-lists and Nakamaru fans, but again Happy belated New Year to all the fans of Massu!
I hope this year will become the best one ever for you all, among fandom, and for our boys despite the international economic hardship!

Story & Report
The main character: Daichi Kitajima(Nakamaru) who became to a fireman from his childhood experience to have been rescued by the rescue ranger and is aiming to become the Super Ranger although he has a trauma. Yutaka Tezuka(Masuda) who is the best friend of Daichi and also the candidate for the Super Ranger. The drama "RESCUE ~ Special Super Rangers": the drama showing the works of the Super Rangers: the top rescue rangers who are saving human life at the disaster or accident at a risk of their own life. On a certain day in December we caught an urgent news that they would film it at a certain place! We hurried to the actual place - .
There were several fire engines and ambulances and there was a serious atmosphere. Yes there was the disaster area. Then, a fire engine with Nakamaru and Masuda wearing fireproof uniform hurriedly arrived. After their arrival soon Masuda tried to run with a hose... but he couldn't carry the hose on ease. Finally he started running with it but as he has an oxygen cylinder on his back and various materials on his body, he couldn't run smooth unlike how he usually is. It's fairly a heavy work.
This time, those 2 started building up their body from since 1 month ago to act such roles.
"I have been developed my muscles a lot. I came to see the mirror often(LAUGH)." (Nakamaru)
"I have been training with those acting rangers similar to me, and they all tend to take off their clothes immediately." (Masuda)
They have been building up their body, but the act with materials looks really hard.
"The cylinder weighs 12 kilo grams and once all the other materials add they seem to be about 20 kilo grams."
At the interval they were seriously listening to the advice from the real rescue rangers.
The touching drama which is thrillingly and dynamically drawing the effort of youths taking the bloody training to become Super Rangers and the life saving at a risk of their lives.
The gap between the ideal and reality at life saving, mistakes from their immaturity and dilemma... through communication with his fellows such as Tezuka, trainers, and superior officers, Daichi is going to grow up as a rescue ranger, as a human being, and as a guy. The love affair can be also noticeable. Co-act with Yusuke Yamamoto, Yui Ichikawa, and so on.

- Is your training hard?
Nakamaru(N) "There is a delicate way for how to go on the rope, and until we were taught the technique we couldn't do it at all."
Masuda(M) "Just by seeing I thought I would be able to do, but once I tried I can't do most of them."
N "To pretend myself professional, there were a lot to memorize. Once I used to the training it's fun to do."
M: "Once we came to be able to do, they say 'you looked cool now, don't you?'"
N: "The rangers praise us that we have really a good sense. Then we become elated(LAUGH)."
- Let us know about each character.
N: "He is serious, but from his too much passion he tends to move without thinking enough about what would happen later. So, I take a notice on saying the lines with strengthened voice."
M: "Tezuka who I am acting is a bit superior. So I think I have to become better than others actually. Daichi has a tough mentality. Once he determined to help he would immediately go, but Tezuka would go to pick up the rope instead, his mentality is weak. At such part he is similar to me(LAUGH)."
N: "I am definitely not similar to Daichi. I myself is totally the careful person. I am perfectly copying how rangers are yelling at themselves. I think I have to learn about not only something physical, but also something mental."
- How was 2008? What are your ambitions for 2009?
N: "I was fulfilled with my works. In 2009, first of all I want to satisfy with 'RESCUE'. Personally I want to do my best with my university."
M: "It is the best for me to spend the year-end and new-year period really nicely with this drama and NEWS concerts."
N: "Let me say something to end. In this drama there are our naked scenes. There is a bath scene at the 1st episode."
M: "As the story goes our body will become more built(LAUGH)."
